Dear parents and community members,

As of Monday afternoon, the Rafael Fire has grown stronger and some areas of Flagstaff are on “Set” status. As of 3:15 pm on Monday June 21st the “SET” neighborhoods are as follows; All areas south of I-40 and west of I-17, University Heights, Kachina Village, Forest Highlands, Pine Dell, and Woody Mountain Road.

Currently, neither the Puente de Hozho nor Cogdill site of the Boys and Girls Club of Flagstaff is under any evacuation order and we will remain open for our families for as long as possible. However, if we do receive an order to shut down or evacuate, all youth will need to be picked up as soon as possible and we will be unable to reopen either site until containment of the Rafael Fire has been reached.

We hope that you stay safe and encourage you to reach out if you have questions or concerns.

Thank you,

Deanna Burrell
