Power Hour

Dedicated homework help and tutoring program designed to provide kids with the academic support they need to succeed in school.

Each session offers a quiet, structured environment where youth can focus on completing their assignments with the assistance of trained staff and volunteers.

Through this program, children develop better study habits, improve their academic performance, and build confidence in their abilities, all while fostering a love for learning.

Project Learn

An engaging, educational program that reinforces and enhances hands-on activities like reading and writing.

The program also includes dedicated literacy support, ensuring that participants strengthen their reading and writing skills. Activities extend beyond the classroom, encouraging kids to see learning as a lifelong, enjoyable process.

Through Project Learn, participants gain the academic and social tools they need to achieve success both in and out of school.

Healthy Life at the Boys & Girls Club

Triple Play

A comprehensive health and wellness program designed to improve the mind, body, and soul of youth. The program emphasizes three key areas: daily physical activity, good nutrition, and healthy relationships. Through sports, fitness activities, nutrition education, and social skill-building exercises, Triple Play helps kids develop lifelong habits of healthy living. By participating, youth enhance their physical fitness, learn the importance of balanced diets, and build positive social connections, all in a fun and supportive environment.

Rosters are updated daily and reflect those who have completed the steps fully.

Our staff will not allow members onto the bus, who are not listed on the roster.

SCHOLARSHIP & ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

Public Housing Scholarship Program

In partnership with the City of Flagstaff, public housing scholarships provide financial support to families with valid Section 8 housing vouchers.

To qualify, families must submit a leasing agreement letter and other supporting documents. This initiative aims to empower youth by reducing financial stress, allowing them to focus on their education and future at the Club.

Foster Care Scholarship Program

In partnership with CASA for Kids, the foster care scholarships program provides financial assistance to families.

To qualify, families must submit supporting documents from the case manager to verify eligibility. This initiative aims to promote consistency and stability, allowing foster youth to thrive in a supportive environment.

Youth Emergency Services & Shelter Scholarship Program

Our Youth Emergency Services and Shelter program, in partnership with Hope Cottage, Flagstaff Shelter Services, and other local resources, offers scholarships to help cover monthly costs for families, ensuring a safe and stable environment for youth in need.

To qualify, families must provide award letters and additional documentation to determine eligibility. This program is dedicated to supporting at-risk youth and their families during times of crisis.

Tuition Assistance Program

Our Tuition Assistance Program provides financial support to families needing help to reduce monthly costs, making essential services more affordable beyond existing scholarship options.

To qualify, families must submit various documentation, including DES program award letters, bank statements, pay stubs, and other formal documents. This program is designed to ensure that financial barriers do not hinder access to crucial resources.
