JPMorgan Chase to Provide $25,000 Donation to Enhance After School Programs in Flagstaff

Flagstaff, Arizona – May 3, 2012 – JPMorgan Chase announced today a $25,000 grant to the Boys and Girls Club of Flagstaff. The donation is the first major corporate contribution to be received by the newly formed Boys and Girls Club.

“JPMorgan Chase is excited to be a lead partner in the Boys and Girls Club of Flagstaff, helping provide expanded after school programs for our youth in Flagstaff,” said Randon Cupp, who leads Business Banking for Chase in Northern Arizona. “I hope other businesses in Flagstaff will join us in supporting this worthwhile cause that helps ensure our young people have a safe place to learn and grow.“

The club will be located at the existing Cogdill Recreational facility in the Brannen Homes community near Mark Grace Field. The 8750 square foot facility will undergo minor renovations and include an art room, computer lab, tutoring room, gym, and outdoor playground. The club has a planned open date of July 2012.

The recently formed board of directors includes co-chairs Chris Bavasi and Don Lindner, and directors Elizabeth Anderson, Rich Bowen, Valerie Caro, Rex Gilliland, Tim Hansen, Steve Haws, Branden Kavanagh, Mike Loven, Mark McCullough, Jeff Pugliano, Jim Pugliano, Ebby Sabbagh, Sherri Slayton, and Dorothy Staskey.
